How to tell if your tap water is safe to drink

How to Tell If Your Tap Water Is Safe To Drink, A Comprehensive Guide To The Drinking Water Standards in Your State, was written by the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Department of Health and Human Services of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The Guide covers everything from water quality to safety standards, including the latest water quality testing results.

“The information in the guide is very clear,” says Liz Johnson, senior vice president and program manager of the Department’s Drinking Water Program.

“We do not have to look into the past or speculate about what could have happened.”

It’s not just about drinking water safety, either.

It also provides information on tap water quality, including how much tap water you need, how to measure your tap level and how much you should be drinking.

It’s available at no charge to Texans, residents and businesses in the affected areas, and on the state website.

If you are in an area that has not received a copy of the Guide, contact the State of Texas at 817-863-7111.
